A 5 ingredient pizza dough recipe and comes together in one hour!!

FIVE SIMPLE INGREDIENTS:  FLOUR – WATER – YEAST – SALT + SUGAR!

SOUNDS EASY?  IT IS!!

It’s a social family favourite and it’s been a great ice breaker for new friends, girlfriends and even the grandparents loved it on family day. 

It’s a total winner meal you can make anytime of year.  We even cook it on the bbq in hot weather…we love it that much! 

Pizza Dough

WHAT MEAL IS GUARANTEED TO GET EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE HELPING IN THE KITCHEN?

  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 1 tsp Instant yeast
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  1. In a bowl, combine the water, yeast and sugar. Let stand until the mixture foams on top, about 5 minutes.

  2. In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Increase the speed to medium and add the yeast mixture until a soft ball forms.

  3. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead a few minutes on a floured surface to prevent sticking.

  4. Place in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a clean cloth. Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes – 1 hour in a warm, draft free area or until doubled in size

  5. Use the pizza dough immediately or refrigerate it (less than 48 hours) otherwise place it in an airtight bag and freeze.

  6. The recipe will make two pizzas

  7. Roll dough to desired thickness. Top with favourite toppings and bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
